DDLY Dynamic Delay by Izotope for free!

DDLY Dynamic Delay

FREE THROUGH MARCH 10

Don’t delay, delay today

DDLY Dynamic Delay responds to your track’s musical dynamics to create versatile and intriguing delays. It’s a one-of-a-kind effects plug-in that delays the signal differently depending on the character of the sound, without turning your track to aural mud. Adjust the threshold to split your signal based on transients, then send it down two separate analog or granular delay paths.

Get a cleaner, more complex sound than a traditional full-signal delay plug-in with DDLY!

Get DDLY Dynamic Delay from February 9, 2016 through March 10, 2016 and you will receive a full license of DDLY Dynamic Delay for free. After March 10, 2016, DDLY Dynamic Delay will be available at the regular price of $49 USD. Limit one per customer. Not transferrable.

Key Features

  • Two delays in one: DDLY analyzes your audio based on an adjustable threshold to determine what to send to the top delay and what to send to the bottom delay. Adjust the Intensity to affect how strongly the signal is split between the two—great for a punchy delay on the harder, transient crack of your drums and a shuffling delay on the main beat elements.
  • Customize your delay: Both delays have two modes to choose from: Analog or Grain. Analog produces warm lo-fi delays with smearing and nostalgic degradation. Grain produces melodic, symphonic, and futuristic sounds for truly new soundscapes.
  • Responsive interface: The interface of DDLY reacts to the material it’s applied to for unique real-time visual feedback. As the knobs come to life, your sound gets cooler. Go ahead, get ‘em all going!
  • Automatable: DDLY can be set up with automation in your audio host, to engage the dynamic delay on your mix when you want it to and back off when you need the raw material to shine.

Get going with DDLY!

The best thing to do with DDLY is put on everything. Seriously — it’s going to sound awesomer and awesomer the more you let it rip. But, even though you can play with it like crazy, it’s not only a toy. DDLY has some serious and powerfully practical uses, too.

DDLY on drums

On a drum track, try setting DDLY to only add echo to the harder attacks of the kick and snare. You’ll get that cool, echo effect without adding delay to the extra buzz from the snares or the room noise or a sloppy high hat that would make the mix sound muddy or crowded. Or dial in different delay patterns for the transients and the more constant energy of the performance, to keep the foundation in place and let the accents and flourishes bloom and soar.

⤑ Learn how to dial up DDLY for drums.

DDLY on vocals

DDLY works great on vocals, too! Emphasize the full range of the vocal take with a subtle delay on the verse and a more intense delay on the bigger moments in the chorus. Instead of laborious studio setup with multiple mics and complex routing, DDLY lets you dial in unique performance-based delay effects quickly. No more canned, inflexible delay!

DDLY on INSANITY!

DDLY is not for the timid. The echoing wail of DDLY can ring and rattle and twist your insides. Yes, it can be extreme. Yes, it can go too far. But sometimes, too far is exactly how far you need to go. Push DDLY to the limits and see what you get. Make insane sounds, get complex delays, discover new horrors, and just try to get out alive.

DDLY on whatever you imagine

Any source with a strong dynamic range and expressiveness is a great candidate for DDLY, to build upon the dynamics rather than compress them. Try it on guitars to add delay and echo to only the loudest parts of a performance and not touch the more intimate moments. Try it on piano or synth tracks. Automate the delay over the course of your whole mix, to get intense on some sections and dial it back in others. Run wild! Be free![/vc_column_text][/accordion][accordion title=”DDLY Dynamic Delay Technical Specs”][vc_column_text]Latest version: DDLY Dynamic Delay 1.00 released February 9, 2016.

DDLY Dynamic Delay runs as a plug-in within your audio editing software. DDLY is not a standalone application. In DDLY, you are not able to save settings as presets within the plug-in.

TDR Kotelnikov Freeware Plugin

TDR Kotelnikov Freeware Plugin

Hi there! I hope you had a great black Friday – Cyber Monday time :). Just got an email the other day from Tokyo Dawn Labs (I’m subscribed to their mailing list, if you are not you should!).

Tokyo Dawn Records (TDR) is the name of a tough little music unit meanwhile based in Munich, Germany. Established 1997 by Marc Wallowy and friends, TDR has been spreading soul futurism on the internet since its beginning. Now, they also develope GREAT plugins, and the best part of it is that some of them are Free or very affordable. For that reason I believe is worth mentioning and promote their work.
This is their last release TDR Kotelnikov, a great addition to any Home Studio or  Pro Studio, specially because they offer a great freeware version and a more improved /completed version called “Gentleman 40 €“. If you ever wonder how to get that “big ” “punchy” sound, well this tool will help you to improve and finalise the overall sound of your mix.

About TDR Kotelnikov
TDR Kotelnikov is a wideband dynamics processor combining high fidelity dynamic range control with deep musical flexibility. As a descendant of the venerable TDR Feedback Compressor product family, Kotelnikov has directly inherited several unique features such as a proven control scheme, individual release control for peak and RMS content, an intuitive user interface, and powerful, state of the art, high-precision algorithms.

With a sonic signature best described as “stealthy”, Kotelnikov has the ability to manipulate the dynamic range by dramatic amounts, while carefully preserving the original tone, timbre and punch of a musical signal. As such, it is perfectly suited to stereo bus compression as well as other critical applications.

The concept is “proudly digital” in the sense that it doesn’t try to emulate any previously existing device. This is the original!

Revival by Slate Digital Freeware

Revival by Slate Digital Freeware

(Ilok 2 Key required)

-Analog Modeled Sonic Enhancer
-Musically Tuned by Ear Emulates Characteristics of Tubes, Transformers, and Tape
-Unlike Any Other Two Knob Processor You’ve Heard

Overview
Revival by Slate Digital Freeware is the product of years of research into what makes things sound ‘better’. The Slate Digital Team analyzed what it was about classic analog gear that could turn tracks into audio masterpieces, and broke the process down into two knobs. That may sound a bit crazy, but wait till you hear Revival.

Revival borrows aspects of tubes, tape, transformers, and world class analog filters to create two processes. Shimmer adds depth, clarity, space, width, and air like you’ve never heard. Thickness adds warmth, punch, body, and fatness.

Revival can be used on individual tracks, such as to create air on a pop vocal or add fatness to drums, but is also amazing in mastering to bring out details in full mixes. And best of all, you can download the Virtual Mix Rack which includes Revival and the Mix Bundle (two analog modeled eqs and compressors), and Revival’s license will never expire. That’s right, Revival is FREE!

BitterSweet v3 Freeware by fluxhome

BitterSweet v3 Freeware – The BitterSweet Transient Designer

[ AU 32 & 64 bit | VST 32 & 64 bit | AAX Native/DSP* | Merging VS3 32 & 64 bit** ]

BitterSweet v3 Freeware is a free software processing tool for managing audio transients. Turning the big wheel button on the sweet side, decreases the transients amplitude. On the bitter side the transients amplitude is magnified.

BitterSweet v3 Freeware is built around our latest 64-bit version 3 framework improving the processing performance dramatically. The graphic rendering in Bittersweet v3 is using a GPU-efficient 2D/3D graphic engine. The engine, introduced first in the Pure Analyzer System, is based on the OpenGL standard optimizing the audio-to-visual experience utilizing the GPU on the computer’s built in graphics card.

BitterSweet v3 also features a control for the signal to be processed. When the main position is engaged, the process affects the stereo signal. If Center is engaged, only the M signal of the internal MS matrix is processed. If stereo is selected, only the S signal from the MS matrix is processed.

Three transient detection modes can be selected. Varying periods of integration for transients can be accessed. A Link function is provided to compensate the output gain with respect to the transient processing setting.

Like all Flux:: plug-ins, it features 64 bit floating point processing, up to 8 channels and up to 8 FS (384 KHz). Center and Stereo Modes are only available in stereo processing (2 channels).
We hope you will enjoy this new tool and make your mix Bitter, or Sweet…

Neither Flux or iLok dongle, nor registration is required.
